Our mandate includes receiving, managing and utilizing funds either from the state Government or donations from private individuals/donors for the sole purpose of Educational Revitalization to facilitate learning and skills development in Borno State, North East of Nigeria.
The Secretariat is headed by a determined and forward looking administrator and transformation, Maina Yaumi, who prior to his appointment, has cut his teeth in the oil industry where he had previously spent an upward of 20 years. Supported by the three directorates, he is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Fund in addition to implementing the decisions of the Board towards the realization of the goal, vision and mission of the Education in Borno State.
